About the Role
• Perform site observations of earthwork, utility backfill, excavations, foundation construction, and conduct material testing and special inspections. • Collect samples and conduct tests to ensure compliance with construction specifications. • Travel to job sites using company vehicles and interact with design teams, building officials, contractors, and clients. • Complete technical reports. • Coordinate with project managers and maintain constant communication while on site.

GMC is seeking a Construction Materials Testing Technician for our Atlanta, GA office. This is an opportunity to utilize experience within the engineering industry. ICC Special Inspection Certifications. • Hold a high school diploma or equivalent. • Possess a valid driver’s license with a clear driving record. • Knowledge of ACI field concrete testing. • Radiation safety certification. • Prior construction experience. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
