About the Role

As a Consulting Sales Engineer in the HVAC domain you will be the preferred technical partner for consultants, end‑users and installers, developing relationships that grow our business and ensure our products are specified from project conception to delivery. You will engage consultants and other stakeholders, use your technical expertise to create and manage proposals that meet application and operational needs, and drive customer engagement across industry, real‑estate and critical‑infrastructure markets. You will work closely with the sales team to identify opportunities, deliver our value proposition to decision‑makers and maintain deep knowledge of major HVAC brands. • Develop relationships with consultants, end‑users and installers to drive HVAC business growth • Leverage technical expertise to specify Johnson Controls products and prepare tailored proposals • Collaborate with sales team to identify and close opportunities in industry, real‑estate and critical‑infrastructure markets • Deliver the value proposition to stakeholders and decision‑makers

What You Bring

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in business, engineering or equivalent experience, and at least five years in consulting, technical sales, design or application within HVAC. You must have strong subject‑matter expertise, a commercial mindset, the ability to influence consultants, excellent presentation and communication skills, and be self‑motivated with a customer‑focused approach. Travel up to 70‑80 % of the time is expected. • Maintain deep knowledge of major HVAC brand portfolios • Minimum 5 years experience in consulting, technical sales, design or application within HVAC • Strong HVAC systems subject‑matter expertise and awareness of market trends • Proven ability to influence consultants and establish customer partnerships • Exceptional presentation, communication, and teamwork skills • Willingness to travel 70‑80% of the time
