About the Role

• Perform scheduled, preventative, and corrective maintenance on refrigeration, air‑conditioning and HVAC systems. • Handle refrigerants in compliance with ARCTick licensing requirements. • Respond promptly and professionally to internal and external stakeholders. • Collaborate with other trades and subcontractors to support operational delivery.

What You Bring

We are inviting applications to join our permanent workforce at HMAS Watson as a Refrigeration/HVAC Technician. The role commences in February 2026 and we welcome people from all backgrounds, whether they bring Defence experience, industry knowledge, or transferable skills from other sectors. • Hold a Certificate III in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning. • Hold a NSW Refrigeration and Air‑Conditioning Licence (ARCTick licence desirable). • Possess post‑trade experience diagnosing and repairing refrigeration and HVAC systems. • Maintain a current open driver’s licence and be eligible for Defence Security Clearance (Australian citizenship required).
