About the Role
The Operations Supervisor – Hauling Operations leads collections activities across commercial, residential, roll‑off, and container services in a dispersed geography. Working with the Operations Manager and General Manager, the supervisor drives functional excellence, budget achievement, and adherence to safety, environmental, regulatory, and ethical standards. Key responsibilities span safety, customer experience, efficiency, and employee engagement. The role involves leading safety programs, removing unsafe conditions, and partnering with maintenance to keep equipment compliant. It also requires delivering superior customer service, resolving service issues, and meeting missed‑pickup goals. Efficiency duties include setting productivity targets, managing labor hours and disposal costs, and optimizing routes for density and reduced travel time. The supervisor leads drivers to exceed performance metrics and supports fleet quality and maintenance initiatives.
