About the Role

As a Journeyman Electrician you will plan layouts, install and repair wiring, fixtures, apparatus, and control equipment. The role includes mentoring Apprentice Electricians and promoting FSG’s core values through excellent customer service and safety. You will create sketches and follow diagrams to ensure concealed wiring is installed before walls, ceilings, and flooring are completed. You will plan installations to minimize material waste, provide future maintenance access, and meet safety and code requirements. Installation tasks include wiring, equipment, fixtures, control and distribution apparatus such as switches, relays, circuit‑breaker panels, buss, busbars, feeders, power systems, and switchgear. Additional duties involve repairing faulty equipment, working from ladders, scaffolds, or roofs, advising management on hazardous equipment, meeting attendance standards, and maintaining a valid electrician’s license. • Prepare wiring sketches and follow blueprints to install concealed wiring before walls, ceilings, and flooring are completed. • Plan installations to minimize material waste, ensure future maintenance access, and comply with safety and local electrical codes. • Install electrical wiring, equipment, fixtures, and control apparatus such as switches, relays, circuit‑breaker panels, buss, busbars, feeders, power systems, and switchgear. • Repair faulty equipment or systems and work safely from ladders, scaffolds, or roofs. • Advise management on potential hazards associated with equipment operation. • Maintain a current electrician’s license and adhere to attendance and notification procedures.

What You Bring

Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, three to five years of electrical construction experience, and a valid driver’s license.
