About the Role
The Quality Control Inspector is responsible for planning, organizing, and implementing safety and quality control inspections for all assigned work environments and personnel required on the contract. The role works independently with minimal supervision to address challenges and resolve QC and safety issues. The position is on‑site. • Implement and maintain contract‑specific QC and Safety Plans. • Plan, organize, and conduct QC inspections of work environments and personnel. • Identify and address compliance issues per contract and regulatory requirements. • Inspect work for discrepancies against QA/QC/Safety plans and contract specifications. • Conduct safety inspections to ensure compliance with the Performance Work Statement. • Complete QC and safety reports, documenting non‑compliance and violations. • Maintain SeeSOR and Industry Safe databases with accurate QA/QC/Safety data. • Ensure work environments comply with OSHA 1910 and 1926 regulations. • Prepare incident reports, analyze causes, and document corrective actions. • Monitor subcontractor performance for QA/QC/Safety adherence. • Schedule work to meet changing priorities and timelines. • Respond to emergency site maintenance as needed. • Generate required documents, forms, and reports; query systems for project information. • Lead QA/QC/Safety meetings and training, developing materials when required. • Keep Quality Manager and Program Manager informed of unique issues. • Inspect completed and in‑progress work to verify standards and provide reports. • Perform audits of internal processes and evaluate program effectiveness. • Use tools and equipment properly; complete mandated training and OSHA 300/301 logs. • Adhere to company safety policies, SOPs, and OSHA regulations while working under pressure.

What You Bring
The role requires indoor and outdoor work in varying temperatures, travel to building sites during inclement weather, and exposure to hazardous materials, confined spaces, and heights up to 30 feet. Physical duties include climbing ladders, stairs, or scaffolding for inspections and operating a computer in an office environment. Reasonable accommodations are provided as required. • Minimum 2 years of QC/Safety experience. • OSHA 30‑hour certification and extensive knowledge of OSHA 1910/1926 regulations. • Intermediate proficiency with MS Office Suite. • Valid state driver’s license with acceptable driving record. • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret‑level security clearance. • Ability to pass background checks and drug testing. • Associate degree or equivalent experience preferred. • Construction Quality Management training (USACE) or ISO Internal Auditor certification preferred. • Experience in facility maintenance or service‑oriented environments preferred.
