About the Role
• Lead growth of the transportation practice in Arkansas and Kansas, focusing on Arkansas DOT projects • Build and maintain strong relationships with DOT clients, teaming partners, and industry stakeholders across the Central Plains • Serve as Client Representative for key transportation clients to ensure high‑quality service and long‑term partnerships • Drive business development activities, including pursuit strategy, proposal creation, and interview presentations • Provide senior technical oversight for transportation planning, design, and delivery in line with DOT standards • Build, mentor, and develop a high‑performing transportation team, supporting technical growth and career progression • Oversee quality assurance and quality control to keep projects on budget, schedule, and technical standards • Contribute to regional transportation strategy and collaborate with firm leadership for long‑term growth

What You Bring
• Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or related field) and be a licensed Professional Engineer • Possess 8+ years of progressive transportation engineering experience, including delivery for state DOTs, preferably Arkansas • Demonstrated ability to develop client relationships and support business development efforts • Experience leading teams and making independent technical and project decisions • Preferred: experience across multiple state DOTs (Arkansas and Kansas), background in transportation design and construction, and senior project management on complex projects • Strong understanding of DOT procurement, delivery processes, and funding programs
