About the Role
Key responsibilities include completing projects per contractual requirements while staying within budget, on schedule, and achieving high customer satisfaction. The manager is accountable for the financial performance of assigned projects, covering planning, billing, revenue forecasting, accounts receivable collections, and cost re‑estimating. They will manage delivery of the contracted scope, secure change orders for scope expansion, coordinate project materials and shared resources, and address resource constraints with corrective action plans. Additionally, the role requires managing relationships with subcontractors, identifying issues, and implementing corrective actions. • Manage commercial HVAC projects from planning to completion, ensuring budget, schedule, and customer satisfaction. • Oversee project financials, including billing, revenue forecasting, A/R collections, and cost re‑estimating. • Secure and manage change orders to expand project scope as needed. • Coordinate material procurement and shared resources, addressing constraints with corrective actions. • Maintain subcontractor relationships and promptly resolve any issues. • Perform diagnostic procedures and analyze test data to resolve design or system issues.

What You Bring
Required qualifications are a High School Diploma or GED, at least three years of commercial project management experience, and one year of experience with the Microsoft Office Suite. Preferred qualifications include a bachelor’s or associate degree, technical/business certification, or diploma in HVAC, controls, or a related field, as well as prior experience in construction, HVAC, or building automation. Candidates should demonstrate the ability to lead and motivate teams, strong problem‑solving and planning skills, the capacity to read and understand scopes of work, exceptional written and verbal communication, knowledge of project financial reporting, and effective communication with customers and field team members. Additional skills involve developing product knowledge, performing diagnostic procedures, and analyzing test information to resolve design or system issues. • Require High School Diploma/GED, 3+ years commercial project management, and 1+ year Microsoft Office experience. • Preferred: Bachelor’s/associate degree or technical certification in HVAC/Controls; experience in construction or building automation. • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams while solving complex problems. • Strong written and verbal communication; capable of reading and interpreting scopes of work. • Experience with project financial reporting and maintaining effective customer communications.
