IS Technician

About the Role
We are seeking an IS Technician to deliver client‑focused technical support on GHD’s technologies, applications and platforms. Reporting to the IS Team Leader for NSW/ACT, the role ensures service delivery to GHD’s clients through effective issue resolution and adherence to service standards. • Complete and log tasks via ticketing system, meeting or exceeding service levels. • Diagnose and resolve client issues efficiently to minimize recurrence. • Maintain professional, friendly client interactions at all times. • Prioritize tasks to meet service deadlines and keep manager informed of status and risks. • Escalate incidents and communicate with internal IS teams as needed. • Collaborate with ISHelp and other IS teams, adhering to service desk procedures and security protocols. • Build strong client relationships and provide coaching to enhance their technical skills. • Continuously develop knowledge of GHD technologies, industry trends, and work independently.

What You Bring
• Represent IS positively by following dress code, hygiene, and communication standards. • Demonstrate independent work ethic, decision‑making, ownership, and strong organisational skills. • Possess strong technical expertise in Microsoft OS, Azure cloud services, desktop/office hardware, networking, Active Directory, Intune, and ServiceNow. • Deliver excellent client service and communication, coupled with strong analysis and problem‑solving abilities. • Minimum three years’ experience in a helpdesk/desktop role; relevant certifications (ITIL, Azure, MSCE) preferred.
