About the Role

The District Sales Manager will motivate and coach the sales staff on strategic and tactical decisions to drive district growth, adapting to market conditions through development, mentoring, goal‑setting, and coaching. Responsibilities include expanding market opportunities, ensuring proper execution of district plans, and serving as a liaison between field teams and marketing support. • Leverage current skills while developing new skills • Identify and develop new market opportunities and understand market dynamics • Coach sales force to increase revenue through innovation and best practices • Monitor JumpStart and Quick Start trainees • Ensure proper execution of AMP and RAMP plans at district level • Expand customer diversity with new accounts and increase product awareness • Ensure sales staff is fluent in equipment and construction industry knowledge • Accompany sales personnel on customer visits • Manage Key Account Program where applicable • Recommend corrective action for underperforming territories and reps • Serve as key field liaison with marketing and sales support teams • Identify emerging markets based on customer relationships • Prepare budgets, forecasts, quotas and other projections • Review product pricing and quantities to meet revenue and utilization goals

What You Bring

Candidates must have a high school diploma (college degree in Business or Marketing preferred), a valid driver’s license, and at least four years of sales management experience. They should possess a solid understanding of construction phases and equipment, excellent communication and supervisory skills, and be able to perform physical tasks such as lifting 50 + pounds and working both indoors and outdoors. • High school diploma or equivalent; college degree in Business or Marketing preferred • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving history • Minimum four years of sales management experience • Working knowledge of construction phases and equipment applications • Excellent oral and written communication and supervisory skills • Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs, bend, squat, crouch, and work indoor/outdoor environments
