About the Role
At MasTec Communications Group we build for the future, and as an Electrician III you will develop new skills in a safety‑focused environment while helping deliver high‑quality service to customers and communities. The role involves leading project teams, interpreting blueprints, estimating costs, managing materials and labor, and controlling project budgets. You will also oversee site acquisition, engineering, and construction compliance, conduct risk management, and enforce MasTec’s quality and safety programs, including the Zero Defect policy. • Lead project teams to ensure timely completion. • Read and interpret electrical blueprints and specifications. • Prepare cost estimates and manage project budgets. • Coordinate material, labor, and equipment procurement. • Oversee site acquisition, engineering, and construction compliance. • Conduct risk assessments and develop contingency plans. • Enforce MasTec quality standards and safety guidelines. • Review and approve vendor invoices and purchase orders. • Identify opportunities for additional network services. • Apply estimating software and advanced MS Office capabilities. • Work with 24VDC and 48VDC systems where applicable.

What You Bring
Candidates must hold a State 01 Journeyman electrician license, have at least five years of telecom construction experience, and be proficient with project scheduling software (e.g., Microsoft Project) and estimating tools. Strong MS Office skills, safety awareness, and excellent oral and written communication are essential. • Maintain a State 01 Journeyman electrician license. • Accumulate 5+ years of telecom construction experience. • Utilize Microsoft Project or comparable scheduling software. • Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills.

Onsite
