About the Role

The role involves laying out and installing all types of pipe for water, sewer, and storm drain projects, adhering to applicable plans, specifications, codes, and industry standards. The incumbent works alongside other crafts at a skill level appropriate to their training and follows direction from higher‑skilled workers or the foreman. • Perform pipe laying installation for water, sewer, and storm drain per plans, specs, codes, and standards. • Collaborate with other trades and follow direction from foreman or higher skilled workers. • Maintain positive crew relationships and produce high‑quality, safe, productive work. • Ensure availability of materials, tools, equipment, and information; provide feedback. • Identify improvement opportunities, share knowledge, and teach others. • Minimize waste including waiting, rework, transport, storage, and time. • Read and interpret safety and quality standards; effectively use trade tools and equipment. • Work up to 12‑hour shifts in varying temperatures, climb catwalks/ladders, lift/push/pull up to 50 lb occasionally. • Perform safety‑sensitive tasks that could affect personal or others’ safety, including operating equipment and handling hazardous materials. • Participate in Employee Stock Ownership Plan and 401(k) with company contributions.

What You Bring

• Apply strong verbal and written communication skills and trade mathematics proficiency. • Possess at least three years of industrial/commercial construction experience with various underground pipe types. • Perform frequent hand tasks, reach above shoulder and below waist, stoop/kneel/bend occasionally. • Wear required PPE (steel‑toed shoes, gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection, hardhat, vest, etc.) and navigate confined, uneven areas.
