Business Analyst

About the Role

• Design and build Power BI dashboards, reports, and data models. • Create and maintain standardized templates for monthly business reviews and forecasts. • Translate business requirements into technical reporting solutions and roll out forecast templates. • Integrate and consolidate data from ERP, CRM, Excel, databases, and cloud platforms; execute monthly and AOP data loading. • Monitor data quality, ensure report accuracy, and contribute to automation of financial data collection using Power Query and Power BI. • Automate reporting processes, improve workflows, and provide ad‑hoc analysis and insights to stakeholders. • Perform monthly P&L vs. plan reviews and deep‑dive into financial systems to investigate results. • Prepare ad‑hoc presentations, analyses, and reports for the regional team and other stakeholders.

This regional position provides hands‑on experience evaluating the financial performance of PDS operations throughout Asia Pacific and offers potential future employment within the company. The analyst collaborates with stakeholders to deliver ad‑hoc insights, improve project profitability, and enhance regional performance. The ideal candidate is a proactive self‑starter with strong interpersonal and communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to manage large data sets independently. A relevant degree and at least two years of experience in a multinational environment are required, along with advanced proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and Power Query; familiarity with Hyperion Essbase and Smartsheet is a plus. • Proactive self‑starter with strong problem‑solving ability. • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. • Ability to work independently, manage large data sets, and maintain meticulous attention to detail. • Resourceful and able to complete tasks in a timely manner. • Degree in Data Analytics, IT, Finance/Accountancy or equivalent. • Minimum 2 years experience in large multinational companies; finance/accounting background a plus. • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and Power Query. • Strong English communication and presentation skills. • Knowledge of Hyperion Essbase and Smartsheet preferred.
