About the Role
All employees must comply with applicable safety procedures, report unsafe conditions or potential hazards to the Production Supervisor or appropriate resource, and maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area. Promptly notify supervisors of any problems with equipment, operations, materials, inventory, or documentation. Key duties include receiving, stocking, picking, issuing, and delivering materials within performance guidelines to satisfy internal and external customers. You will keep packers and machine operators supplied with parts, remove completed items to storage or the next workstation, and coordinate material flow to prevent excessive accumulation. Responsibilities also cover operating forklift trucks and other material‑handling equipment, setting up workstations, instructing operators on procedures and safety, performing equipment safety checks, and maintaining a supply of necessary tools and materials. You will maintain accurate records, conduct cycle counts, ensure products meet nVent’s quality specifications, and meet established performance standards. • Follow safety procedures, report hazards, and keep the work area clean and organized. • Receive, stock, pick, issue, and deliver materials to meet internal and external customer expectations. • Supply packers and machine operators with parts, remove completed items, and manage material flow to prevent backlog. • Operate forklift, wave lift, tugger truck, and other handling equipment; perform equipment safety checks and maintenance. • Set up workstations, instruct operators on procedures and safety, and perform rotational assignments as needed. • Maintain accurate inventory records, conduct cycle counts, and ensure products meet quality specifications. • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and teamwork.

What You Bring
You should have a high school diploma or G.E.D., with at least one year of production experience preferred. Experience with RF scanners, Windows Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet, and label‑printing software is required, along with knowledge of material‑flow processes, safety policies, analytical problem‑solving, and effective oral and written communication. The role demands the ability to work in a high‑stress, high‑pressure environment with a positive attitude, adapt to rapidly changing business circumstances, and function well in a team. Physical requirements include bending, squatting, reaching overhead, climbing stairs or ladders, lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds, and working in confined spaces. • Minimum high school diploma or G.E.D.; at least one year of production experience preferred. • Experience with RF scanners, Windows Office, and label‑printing software. • Knowledge of material‑flow processes, safety policies, analytical problem‑solving, and effective communication. • Ability to work in high‑stress environments, lift up to 50 lb, bend, squat, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces.
