About the Role

The Tower Foreman leads daily site construction, ensuring crews meet production goals and adhere to MasTec’s Health, Safety, and Environmental policies as well as industry standards such as OSHA and TIA‑10‑48. Responsibilities include overseeing operations and work quality, maintaining paperwork, coordinating with customers, training crew members, and managing equipment and vehicle readiness. The foreman also validates timesheets, compiles close‑out documentation, and mentors less‑experienced technicians. • Lead daily tower construction activities and ensure crew meets production goals. • Enforce MasTec Health, Safety, and Environmental policies and OSHA, TIA‑10‑48, NATE CTS, ANSI standards. • Oversee site operations, work quality, and maintain equipment and vehicles in operational condition. • Manage and submit daily paperwork, timesheets, and site‑specific close‑out documentation. • Coordinate with customer representatives and maintain strong working relationships. • Provide leadership, training, and mentorship to crew members, especially new technicians. • Validate crew timesheets and ensure accurate record‑keeping. • Perform rigging, climbing, and lifting tasks safely, up to 12‑hour shifts. • Read and interpret site plans, RFDS, construction drawings, and statements of work.

What You Bring

Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, at least five years of industry experience, and proven expertise in construction, rigging, and safety procedures. Required skills include reading site plans, operating equipment, climbing towers, lifting 50 lb, and working up to 12 hours, as well as strong communication, organizational, and computer abilities. Certifications such as WSA, First Aid, CPR, and others are preferred, and a valid driver’s license is mandatory. • Meet qualifications: high school diploma/GED, ≥5 years industry experience, construction and safety expertise. • Hold or obtain relevant certifications (WSA, First Aid, CPR, Rescue, Wiltron, Anritsu, Fiber, PIM, Connector attachment). • Possess a valid driver’s license and maintain FDOT log books.
