Cleaner, Part Time- 2nd Shift

About the Role

Key responsibilities include sweeping, mopping and washing floors and other interior surfaces, operating both light and commercial‑type floor buffers and shampoo machines, and vacuuming rugs in offices and public areas. The Cleaner also spot‑cleans and shampoos rugs as directed, dusts furniture, exhibit cases, pictures, chairs, door trim, light fixtures and other horizontal surfaces, and performs periodic high‑dusting. Additional duties involve washing interior windowsills, glass doors, partitions and specified windows, cleaning interior walls, maintaining restrooms by cleaning fixtures, restocking paper supplies and monitoring for issues such as clogged urinals or out‑of‑service lights. The Cleaner collects building trash, replaces liners, and may sweep or shovel snow from entrances and walkways when required, as well as perform periodic tasks such as leather and wood polishing, wall washing and any other assigned duties. • Sweep, mop, and wash interior floors and surfaces using light and commercial floor buffers and shampoo machines. • Vacuum rugs in office and public areas, and spot‑clean or shampoo rugs as directed. • Dust furniture, exhibit cases, pictures, chairs, door trim, light fixtures and other horizontal surfaces; perform periodic high‑dusting. • Clean interior windowsills, glass doors, partitions and specified windows; wash interior walls as needed. • Maintain restrooms: clean fixtures, damp‑wipe glass, empty waste baskets, restock paper supplies, and monitor for issues such as clogged urinals or out‑of‑service lights. • Collect building trash, replace liners in waste baskets and containers, and place trash in approved collection areas. • Sweep or shovel snow from building entrances, walkways and sidewalks when directed. • Perform periodic polishing of leather and wood surfaces, wall washing, and other assigned duties.

What You Bring

No prior cleaning experience is required; candidates must be able to follow directions, work with minimal supervision and cooperate as part of a team.
