About the Role
The Facilities Maintenance Team functions like the heart of the prison, ensuring the self‑contained environment runs safely for prisoners, staff, visitors and the wider community. The team works together as a supportive family, creating a nurturing atmosphere. In this role you will work alongside a diverse range of tradespeople—including plumbers, electricians, carpenters, painters, cleaners and administrators—to maintain a secure and rehabilitative environment.

What You Bring
• Experience of prison environment • Proficiency with hand and power tools • Experience in building fabric / hard FM work • Current First Aid at Work qualification • Level 2 qualification in English and Maths • Good health and safety knowledge • Strong organisational, time‑management and people skills
