About the Role
The Rodman transports and sets up surveying instruments and equipment, preparing the job site for land surveys. This role requires learning and understanding all safety hazards associated with the work and safely operating related tools and equipment. The position involves working in plant operations or construction job‑site environments and collaborating with surveyors and other craft workers. • Lay out stakes to prepare for elevation measurements • Assist surveyor in determining elevations • Assist other craft workers as needed • Perform repetitive hand/arm and leg motions with hand‑eye coordination • Use hand and power tools (electric, gas, pneumatic) safely • Climb and maintain balance on steel/wood frameworks, ladders, scaffolds • Work on uneven, muddy, rocky, or soft surfaces; may encounter confined spaces and adverse weather • Perform sedentary to heavy work, including bending, crawling, kneeling, squatting, reaching overhead, and standing for long periods • Apply math skills, read/write comprehension, and decision‑making while focusing amid distractions

What You Bring
