About the Role
The Maintenance Technician A works under the guidance of a Lead Technician, Fleet Maintenance Supervisor, or Maintenance Manager to repair and maintain diesel and non‑diesel trucks and equipment. The position involves servicing chassis components, refuse bodies, air brake systems, engines, HVAC units, and suspension, drivetrain, and steering systems, both on‑site and on the road. Technicians receive training on new technologies and enjoy a stable, regular shift in a growing industry. • Performs repair and maintenance on diesel and non‑diesel equipment, including chassis, refuse bodies, air brakes, engines, HVAC, suspension, drivetrain, and steering systems.

What You Bring
• Diagnoses malfunctions using electronic tools and completes required company training programs. • Maintains advanced knowledge of chassis components, hydraulic/electrical systems, engine work, suspension, drivetrain, HVAC, and welding/fabrication. • 3+ years experience servicing heavy‑duty trucks; capable of inspecting and repairing systems such as suspension, engine, transmission, brakes, electrical, hydraulics, drivetrain, and diesel emissions. • ASE Heavy Truck certifications (T1‑T8), LNG/CNG experience, and Class B CDL are considered a plus. • Must hold a valid driver’s license.
