About the Role
The interdisciplinary team tackles challenges such as sea level rise, extreme weather events, and infrastructure vulnerability, delivering equitable and sustainable solutions across Florida and the Southeast. This position offers the opportunity to lead multidisciplinary planning projects, engage with community stakeholders, and advance innovative solutions that have lasting impact. • Collaborate within a multi‑discipline team to produce well‑written reports and visual documents. • Manage project timelines, budgets, and technical quality to meet client expectations. • Follow established project management plans to achieve defined goals. • Travel as needed, including overnight trips and evening client meetings. • Prepare and facilitate public involvement workshops and consensus‑building meetings. • Assist with marketing, client development, and strategic direction for planning assignments. • Represent the firm at conferences, seminars, and meetings, delivering presentations to clients and officials. • Plan, schedule, and coordinate detailed phases of large planning projects. • Develop land‑use and facility utilization plans for cities, counties, campuses, and regions. • Maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders. • Draft proposals and statements of qualification per company policy. • Supervise technicians and junior planners on project tasks.

What You Bring
• Minimum 3 + years of planning‑related experience and a Bachelor’s degree in Urban Planning, Architecture, Landscape Architecture, or a related field. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, graphic design tools, database management, and GIS. • Experience in cross‑sector planning, complex project management, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement. • Preferred: AICP certification and 7 + years of planning experience.
