About the Role
You will work a stable Monday‑through‑Friday second‑shift schedule (4 pm‑1 am) with no weekend requirements at the Whitestown, IN repair shop, ensuring a reliable work‑life balance. As a senior diesel/CNG mechanic you will service the trucks and equipment that support over 20 million customers, using modern tools to maintain both diesel and CNG fleets while taking pride in delivering reliable transportation to local communities. • Inspect, diagnose, and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems • Estimate time and material costs for repairs and parts • Perform work within Standard Labor Repair Times (SRTs) • Respond to emergency breakdown service calls • Conduct safety checks on vehicles • Complete required paperwork documenting parts usage and repair times • Review and assign repairs from Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports • Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with OSHA standards
