About the Role
In this position you will serve as the go‑to authority for customizing, extending, and optimizing Salsify to accelerate product launches and deliver best‑in‑class digital commerce experiences worldwide. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams, providing technical support, training, and mentorship while continuously evaluating new platform features, AI enhancements, and third‑party integrations to maximize ROI. • Architect, configure, and extend the Salsify platform using advanced scripting, custom APIs, and automation workflows. • Design scalable workflows for product data ingestion, validation, enrichment, syndication, and publishing. • Build and maintain integrations between Salsify and systems such as Bynder DAM, CMS, translation management, and Shopify. • Establish data governance, validation rules, and quality controls within Salsify, monitoring data health and remediating issues. • Automate onboarding, localization, enrichment, and syndication processes leveraging Salsify tools and best practices. • Provide technical support, training, and mentorship to cross‑functional teams on Salsify usage. • Continuously evaluate and adopt new Salsify features, AI enhancements, and third‑party integrations to improve efficiency.

What You Bring
• Own middleware, API connectors, and integration documentation, ensuring security, performance, and scalability. • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. • Possess 5+ years of hands‑on experience configuring and extending Salsify at scale. • Demonstrate mastery of Salsify APIs, RESTful services, JSON/XML payloads, and scripting languages such as Python and JavaScript. • Proven experience integrating Salsify with Bynder, Shopify, translation management systems, and other enterprise platforms. • Expertise in product data governance, taxonomy design, validation, and global localization within Salsify. • Preferred experience with regulatory compliance workflows, Agile development, cloud infrastructure, and DevOps tools for PIM environments.
