About the Role

In this role you will provide technical and engineering support to project and construction managers, coordinate timely responses to RFIs with architects, and maintain current contract plans and specifications. You will conduct field checks to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and Division of the State Architect (DSA) requirements, document progress with photos and daily reports, and log and track change order proposals, field orders, and approved change orders. Additional duties include reviewing submittals for conformance, recording meeting minutes, and reviewing submittal procedures, RFIs, and monthly invoices. • Provide technical and engineering support to Project Managers and Construction Managers. • Coordinate responses to RFIs with Architects. • Maintain and distribute current contract plans and specifications. • Conduct field checks to verify compliance with plans, specifications, and DSA requirements. • Document construction progress with photos, daily reports, and notes. • Log and track change order proposals, field orders, and approved change orders. • Review and log submittals for conformance to plans and specifications. • Record and circulate minutes of stakeholder meetings. • Review submittal procedures, RFIs, and monthly invoices.

What You Bring

The ideal candidate holds a BS/BA in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field and has at least four years of experience managing public or educational construction projects. Knowledge of the DSA construction and design process and prior experience with K‑12 facilities are preferred. • BS/BA in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field required. • Minimum 4 years experience in public or educational facility construction management. • Knowledge of Division of State Architects (DSA) process and prior K‑12 project experience preferred.
