About the Role

The Maintenance Technician supports all aspects of property upkeep, including corrective, preventative, routine, emergency, and cosmetic maintenance, as well as the make‑ready process for units, under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager. • Attend site daily and respond promptly to resident and management work orders for common areas, buildings, and units. • Perform corrective, preventative, routine, emergency, and cosmetic repairs, including pool maintenance and chemical logging. • Conduct daily inspections of grounds, buildings, and amenities to identify and correct hazards. • Assist with unit turn‑around (make‑ready) tasks, scheduling repairs and cleaning interiors and exteriors. • Maintain organized, stocked maintenance shop and adhere to OSHA safety standards. • Update and track service requests, preventive‑maintenance logs, EPA/OSHA compliance, and inventory levels. • Provide excellent customer service, ensure consistent resident communication, and enforce community policies. • Participate in on‑call emergency response and after‑hours duties as needed.

What You Bring

The role requires reliable transportation for on‑call emergencies, the ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting 100‑plus‑pound items and working in confined spaces, and flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and night hours when needed. • Meet physical requirements: lift/move 100‑lb objects, climb ladders, work in confined spaces, and operate power tools. • Hold a high school diploma or equivalent and basic computer skills; knowledge of Fair Housing and OSHA regulations. • Possess reliable transportation for emergency on‑call responsibilities.
