About the Role
The current opening is for a Traveling Journeyman Electrician who will install electrical systems in commercial construction projects, supervise helper or apprentice electricians on each job, and maintain excellent customer relations by understanding client needs and providing effective solutions. • Report punctually to job sites and be ready to work. • Apply electrical and construction principles to solve design and modification problems. • Perform installations in compliance with national and local codes, staying current with NEC revisions. • Follow company policies, meet daily commitments, and adhere to project schedules. • Assist with loading materials, digging trenches, pulling wire through conduit, and other site tasks. • Treat customers, trades, vendors, and coworkers with dignity and respect. • Maintain a clean, clutter‑free job site. • Complete required paperwork, including timecards. • Enforce safety policies and hold others accountable. • Troubleshoot common electrical systems such as services, feeders, and branch circuits. • Plan installations to minimize material waste and ensure future maintenance access. • Prepare wiring sketches or follow blueprints, installing concealed wiring before finishing walls and ceilings. • Measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble, and install electrical conduit. • Splice, strip, twist, solder, and cap wires as needed. • Connect wiring to lighting fixtures, power equipment, and control/distribution apparatus. • Install grounding leads and connect power cables to equipment. • Observe installed systems for hazards and make adjustments or repairs.

What You Bring
• High school diploma or GED required. • Minimum 4 years of electrical project installation experience. • Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license with a clean record. • Applicable state electrician certification. • Advanced electrical knowledge and proficiency with hand tools. • Ability to work with hands and multitask effectively.
