About the Role

A Driver – CDL (B) safely operates a collection truck and provides prompt, courteous, and complete waste removal services for customers. The driver ensures the vehicle complies with the company’s safety standards before operation, adheres to all company, state, and federal regulations, and completes daily vehicle condition reports to address defects promptly. Drivers perform thorough pre‑ and post‑operation inspections, checking tire pressure, fluid levels, safety equipment, gauges, and controls, and report any safety issues. They follow route sheets and maps to service each customer, operate manual or automatic controls to lift, load, compact, and dispose of refuse at designated facilities, and interact courteously with customers and dispatchers. Drivers tag unsatisfactory waste containers, monitor waste for unacceptable material, clean accidental spills following safety policies, and keep the vehicle clean by removing waste from the packer blade and truck body on each disposal trip. They complete required route, productivity sheets, VCRs, and other reports while maintaining productivity standards and participating in the Company’s ReSOP safety program.
