About the Role
You will lead the production of high‑quality geospatial data, mapping and analysis while providing practical, fit‑for‑purpose GIS solutions to project teams, helping achieve competitive and well‑planned project outcomes. • Lead GIS integration across transmission project development and delivery activities. • Produce and maintain high-quality spatial data, mapping, and analysis using Esri and QGIS platforms. • Develop, validate and manage GIS databases, models, templates and quality standards. • Provide technical GIS input to bids, estimates and project documentation. • Support and quality‑check GIS deliverables produced by project teams and GIS staff.

What You Bring
The successful candidate is a technically strong GIS professional who enjoys close collaboration with engineering and delivery teams, brings a proactive, solutions‑focused mindset, communicates clearly with stakeholders and takes pride in delivering accurate spatial outputs for complex infrastructure projects. Strong experience with ArcGIS, QGIS and spatial databases in a project environment is required, together with the ability to manage geospatial data quality, validation and automation. Understanding of transmission, linear infrastructure or energy projects is desirable, as are excellent problem‑solving, analytical and communication skills. The role demands a safety‑focused, detail‑oriented individual comfortable working autonomously. • Proven expertise with ArcGIS, QGIS and spatial databases in project settings. • Ability to ensure geospatial data quality, validation and automate workflows. • Knowledge of transmission or linear infrastructure projects (desired). • Strong problem‑solving, analytical and communication abilities; safety‑focused and detail‑oriented.
