About the Role

Carrier Strategic Accounts is seeking a senior sales executive to lead national sales of HVAC equipment, services, and controls in the healthcare vertical. The role’s primary responsibility is to achieve sales goals by developing and executing plans that build strong owner relationships and secure national agreements, with a focus on equipment solutions. The executive will develop new business relationships with end‑users for construction and replacement projects, act as a trusted advisor to improve system reliability and energy efficiency, and partner with field sales, service teams, and leadership to position Carrier as the preferred supplier. Responsibilities also include managing GPO relationships, conducting needs assessments, preparing proposals and contracts, overseeing projects from bid to installation, and maintaining accurate sales reporting and forecasting. • Develop new business relationships with end‑user clients for construction and replacement projects. • Communicate with C‑level executives, VPs of Operations, and Directors of Facilities and Engineering. • Act as a trusted advisor to healthcare customers to improve system reliability and reduce energy consumption. • Partner with field sales, service teams, operations, and leadership to secure national agreements. • Create and implement strategic sales strategies to position Carrier as the preferred supplier. • Manage Carrier Group Purchasing Organization (GPO) relationships to maximize equipment sales. • Conduct needs assessments and develop proposals, estimates, specifications, and presentations. • Coordinate with operations, finance, legal, and other resources to negotiate contracts. • Oversee projects from bid through installation to ensure satisfactory completion. • Prepare accurate sales activity reports, forecasts, Salesforce updates, and expense tracking. • Participate in professional organizations and networking to advance sales targets. • Continuously update product knowledge and develop technical and financial selling skills. • Develop and execute account management strategies to retain and grow existing accounts. • Team‑sell with solution partners to bundle offerings and expand Carrier participation.

What You Bring

Required qualifications include a bachelor’s degree, at least five years of HVAC solution sales experience, and five years of contract review and bid negotiation experience, with the ability to travel up to 25% domestically. Preferred qualifications are an MBA, three or more years of healthcare construction experience, and experience with Group Purchasing Organizations; related professional certifications and strong communication, organizational, and technical skills are also valued. • Travel up to 25% domestically. • Bachelor’s degree required; 5+ years HVAC solution sales experience. • 5+ years experience reviewing contracts and negotiating bids. • MBA preferred; related professional certifications advantageous. • 3+ years healthcare construction experience preferred. • Experience with Group Purchasing Organizations (GPOs) preferred. • Strong written and verbal communication, organizational, and customer service skills. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Salesforce.
