About the Role

The role involves providing maintenance on specialized commercial HVAC systems according to company standards, as well as starting up and servicing mechanical and electronic equipment. Workers will utilize hand tools, power tools, and test equipment, reviewing work orders, manuals, blueprints, and schematics to determine tasks, tools, and parts needed. Technicians will inspect installation sites to verify that electrical wiring, conduit, switches, and circuit breakers meet specifications, troubleshoot equipment to detect malfunctions, and repair or replace defective parts. They will interpret maintenance manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams, using standard test instruments and consulting engineering personnel for unusual problems. • Perform maintenance, start-up, and service of specialized commercial HVAC systems. • Use hand tools, power tools, and test equipment to install, troubleshoot, and repair equipment. • Review work orders, manuals, blueprints, and schematics to determine required tasks and parts. • Inspect installations to ensure electrical components meet specifications. • Diagnose HVAC malfunctions and replace defective parts. • Interpret maintenance manuals and wiring diagrams; utilize standard test instruments. • Collaborate with engineering personnel to resolve complex system issues. • Document service calls, start-ups, product performance, and improvement suggestions. • Manage multiple tasks, prioritize issues, and maintain detailed records.
