About the Role
Mechanics act as trusted advisors, delivering the highest level of service to resolve facility inefficiencies and service‑related issues. They provide solutions during commissioning and aftermarket service, offer recommendations and upselling opportunities, and prepare quotes to support those recommendations. • Perform maintenance, repair, and replacement on commercial heating and cooling systems, including rooftop units, chillers, boilers, and related equipment. • Partner with Journeymen to service centrifugal, steam turbines, and open‑drive screw chillers. • Provide on‑site troubleshooting, diagnostics, and solutions for facility inefficiencies as a trusted advisor. • Generate quotes, recommend upselling opportunities, and support customers through commissioning and aftermarket service. • Maintain safety standards and utilize provided tools, uniforms, and a company vehicle.

What You Bring
The position is for skilled HVAC Mechanics with practical experience in HVAC piping, plumbing, pipefitting, or mechanical equipment service. Candidates must have hands‑on experience with light‑commercial or commercial mechanical equipment and may need to pass an examination to demonstrate special skills. Work is limited to commercial HVACR service, with opportunities to partner with Journeymen on centrifugal, steam turbines, and open‑drive screw chillers, performing maintenance, repair, and replacement of heating and cooling systems. The company provides factory certification through its Service Technical Academy, monetary rewards, incentive programs, and a strong focus on employee safety, along with tools, uniforms, and a company vehicle. Applicants must be members—or be willing to join—the United Association of Journeymen and Apprentices of the Plumbing and Pipe Fitting Industry. A minimum of three years of commercial or industrial HVAC mechanical troubleshooting experience is required, covering rooftop units, pumps, fans, towers, boilers, chillers, compressors, and plumbing. Skills in mechanical shaft alignment, vibration equipment usage, and diagnostic troubleshooting are essential. Travel of 10–20% may be required, and candidates must pass a knowledge examination. Additional expectations include strong written and verbal communication, quoting ability, participation in the Service Plus Rewards program, a self‑starter attitude, safety prioritization, a universal EPA refrigerant license, applicable state or local licensing, and a valid driver’s license. • Must have ≥3 years commercial/industrial HVAC mechanical troubleshooting experience and be willing to join the United Association. • Proficient in mechanical shaft alignment, vibration analysis, and use of diagnostic equipment. • Travel 10–20% to support branch customers; pass required knowledge examination. • Hold a universal EPA refrigerant license, relevant state/local licenses, and a valid driver’s license.
