About the Role

• Plan and execute advanced field surveys within project scope, budget, and standards. • Coordinate with site supervisors and client field representatives. • Prepare accurate field notes and daily activity reports promptly. • Perform in‑field calculations for construction stakeout and land surveys with minimal office assistance. • Complete and review Health and Safety Checklists; instruct crew on safety hazards and PPE. • Maintain, transport, and operate surveying instruments and equipment. • Operate and maintain the survey vehicle according to the company manual. • Mentor and train junior field staff for career development.

What You Bring

• Minimum 5 years of field survey experience, including at least 2 years as a Crew Chief or equivalent. • Proficient with data collectors, robotic instruments, total stations, leveling, and conventional note‑keeping. • Experience with or ability to learn 3D scanners. • Self‑starter with minimal supervision once assigned. • Able to work in inclement weather and willing to travel. • Valid driver’s license with a clean record; MVR will be monitored. • Strong English reading, writing, and communication skills. • Pass pre‑employment drug screening and comply with ongoing random drug/alcohol testing.
