About the Role

The Building Automation Service Sales Executive supports the Service Agreements business within the region, driving service sales and revenue growth by promoting and selling Direct Digital Controls (DDC) systems and related services to both existing and new clients. The role involves building and maintaining client relationships, identifying opportunities for DDC installations and upgrades, and collaborating closely with the technical team to ensure successful project delivery. Key responsibilities include developing and executing strategic sales plans, conducting thorough assessments of client needs, and preparing detailed proposals with cost estimates and timelines. The executive works with technical and project teams to ensure accurate system design, installation, and commissioning, delivers compelling presentations, negotiates contract terms, and maintains accurate records in CRM software while meeting monthly and annual sales targets. • Develop and execute strategic sales plans targeting DDC system clients. • Build and maintain relationships with existing and new customers. • Assess client needs and design tailored DDC solutions, including HVAC replacements. • Prepare proposals, quotations, and project timelines. • Coordinate with technical and project teams for design, installation, and commissioning. • Deliver sales presentations and demonstrations highlighting DDC benefits. • Negotiate contract terms to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes. • Track sales activities and client interactions using CRM software. • Achieve monthly and annual sales targets and revenue goals. • Travel to client sites and industry events as needed.

What You Bring

Candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field, or possess equivalent experience, and have at least three years of service‑sales experience in the building automation industry. Additional qualifications include industry certifications for DDC systems, knowledge of energy‑efficiency concepts, building codes, and regulations, strong communication skills, a proven sales record, and the ability to manage multiple client relationships with travel as needed. • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience). • Minimum 3 years of service‑sales experience in building automation or related industry. • Industry certifications in DDC systems and building automation (preferred). • Knowledge of energy efficiency, sustainability, building codes, and regulations. • Ability to estimate and sell technical solutions independently. • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. • Strong communication skills to convey technical concepts to non‑technical clients. • Self‑motivated, organized, and capable of managing multiple client relationships. • Willingness to travel as required.
