Transfer Station Laborer/Operator

About the Role

A Laborer at Republic Services is tasked with safely and efficiently performing general labor duties at hauling companies, transfer stations, recycling centers, or landfills. Duties can include yard clean‑up, fueling vehicles and equipment, operating vehicles, and maintaining office areas. • Clean tracks and related equipment • Perform yard work, including mowing and paper pick‑up • Operate site vehicles such as water trucks, pickups, sweepers, mowers, and trimming equipment • Perform general office maintenance and repairs, including painting and janitorial tasks • Install temporary wind fences as required • Direct site traffic when needed
