Conduct and oversee land surveys, manage staff, and ensure quality deliverables.

About the Role
The Project Surveyor will analyze and prepare boundary surveys, conduct quality‑control reviews, assist with report preparation, coordinate field and office staff, develop work plans, supervise staff and sub‑consultants, and may oversee Survey Technicians. • Analyze and prepare complete boundary surveys using record data and sound analysis. • Perform quality‑control reviews on reports, plans, specifications, and cost estimates. • Assist staff in preparing reports, findings, plans, and contract documents. • Organize and coordinate field and office staff for complex project tasks. • Develop and assist in creating project and task work plans. • Provide direction and monitor work of assigned staff, sub‑consultants, and contractors. • Supervise Survey Technicians as needed.

What You Bring
Candidates must have a high school diploma/GED (associate degree preferred), at least five years of surveying experience, an Indiana PLS license (Illinois a plus), advanced Civil 3D and Trimble Business Center skills, strong knowledge of surveying instruments, geometry, and trigonometry, a valid driver’s license, English proficiency, and must pass a pre‑employment drug screen. • High School Diploma/GED required; associate degree or technical experience preferred. • Minimum 5 years of related surveying experience. • Indiana PLS license required; Illinois license a plus. • Advanced proficiency in Civil 3D and Trimble Business Center. • Strong knowledge of surveying instruments, techniques, trigonometry, and geometry. • Valid driver’s license and clean motor vehicle record. • English reading, writing, and speaking proficiency. • Pass pre‑employment drug screening.
