Project Manager - Planning
Oversee planning projects, manage budgets, schedules, staff, and client relations.

About the Role
• Prepare work plans and labor budgets for approval. • Monitor project schedules and capital cost budgets. • Attend public, coordination, and engagement meetings. • Oversee preparation of master plans, land‑use plans, zoning codes, and other reports. • Manage quality control/quality assurance for all assigned projects. • Achieve profit, productivity, and delivery schedule targets. • Support proposal development and cross‑discipline business development. • Identify project team, work packages, tasks, and productivity targets. • Conduct team meetings and enforce review and approval procedures. • Negotiate scope changes with clients, subject to supervisor approval. • Coordinate communication among all project participants to maintain high utilization. • Review monthly revenue and cost reports to ensure budget compliance. • Ensure adherence to project planning and profit control procedures. • Discuss scope revisions affecting schedule or budget with clients. • Seek assistance from department managers to resolve technical issues. • Work with Billing to authorize invoices and follow up on payments. • Mentor junior staff in technical and business practices. • Follow health and safety programs and applicable SOPs. • Maintain Professional Planning (P.P.) licensure and AICP certification. • Apply advanced investigative, analytical, and research skills. • Lead project lifecycle activities from planning through delivery. • Produce advanced technical and non‑technical writing, editing, and proofreading. • Track progress against milestones, budgets, and KPIs; report to senior management. • Negotiate and manage activities with external clients.

What You Bring
• Hold a Bachelor's degree in a related field; Master's preferred. • Possess 6–10+ years of relevant experience. • Have a valid driver's license and willingness to travel to client sites. • Demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe Suite, ArcGIS, and related tools. • Exhibit extensive knowledge of planning concepts, theories, and practices. • Communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal.

Benefits
