What You Bring
• Ability to provide on-site field support, including for emergency response activities, on an on-call or as-needed basis. • Possess a Bachelor's degree or higher in either Engineering (Environmental or Civil), Geology, Hydrogeology or a relevant environmental science field of study from an accredited university. • Experience or ability to coordinate, perform and manage field work (drilling oversight, soil logging, soil/groundwater/soil vapor sampling, etc.). • Ability to travel regionally is required. • Excellent organization and planning skills. • Understanding and awareness of health and safety practices. • One to five years of prior work experience in environmental consulting with demonstrated mechanical and problem-solving skills are strongly desired. • Excellent writing/verbal communication skills for interaction with multi-disciplinary staff. • 40-Hour HAZWOPER certification and 8-hour refresher current preferred. 30-Hour OSHA Construction Safety training a plus. • Experience with development of work plans, site investigation reports, proposals, and cost estimates a plus. • Ability to work independently on a project team. Capability to effectively manage field and office tasks to completion without supervision, including tasks involving coordination with subcontractors. Must have the ability to "own" and effectively manage tasks (field and office) and subcontractors. • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite required. Knowledge of AutoCAD, Microstation, GIS, ESRI, and/or HydroCAD a plus.
