About the Role

As part of the Building Engineering Services Group, engineers design critical infrastructure that supports the digital age, from high‑performance data centers driving AI to dynamic commercial environments, directly influencing technological advancement, sustainability, and human experience. To support rapid growth in the data‑center market, the coordinator/EIT will work under aggressive design schedules with frequent late changes, handling substantial mechanical cooling, HVAC, and coordination demands. The role offers valuable exposure to cutting‑edge technologies, various trades, systems, and stakeholders, and includes regular coaching and mentoring to develop early‑career engineers’ design capabilities. • Conduct analyses to develop mechanical design options or recommendations and assist with cost estimates and specifications. • Perform routine engineering assignments under guidance of the Project Engineer or Project Manager. • Work on projects with clear objectives and limited variables. • Contribute to small projects or assist senior engineers on larger projects. • Collaborate with Project Engineers, Mechanical EITs, or Technicians as needed.

What You Bring
• Master's degree in Architectural Engineering with Mechanical emphasis. • Engineer in Training (EIT) certification (or intent to obtain). • Experience in healthcare, science & technology, or civic facilities. • Interest in sustainable design/LEED (desired). • Experience at an architectural/engineering consulting firm. • Experience designing HVAC systems for building projects. • Proficiency in Revit. • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, Trane TRACE or similar, equipment selection software).
