About the Role
The role involves leading, mentoring and developing a team of construction project managers, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement. The leader conducts performance reviews, offers feedback and aligns managers with organisational and client goals. Responsibilities include overseeing project planning, budgeting, scheduling, execution and closeout to ensure delivery on time, within budget and to required quality standards. The manager reviews and approves project plans, budgets, schedules and change orders. The manager optimises resource allocation across projects, coordinating with other departments and external stakeholders to resolve conflicts and maintain productivity. Monitoring utilisation and adjusting allocations as needed is required. Financial duties involve overseeing yearly project creation, budgeting and scheduling of the client’s capital plan, evaluating budgets and financial performance, and approving reports, invoices and expense claims. Collaboration with finance teams ensures accurate accounting. As the primary point of contact for clients, stakeholders and senior management, the manager communicates project status, addresses concerns promptly and maintains high client satisfaction. The role ensures quality assurance and risk management by implementing control processes, conducting audits and site inspections, and identifying and mitigating risks proactively. Continuous improvement of project management processes, tools and methodologies is expected, with implementation of best practices and fostering a culture of innovation. • Lead, mentor, and develop construction project managers, conducting performance reviews and aligning them with client and organisational goals. • Oversee project planning, budgeting, scheduling, execution and closeout; review and approve plans, budgets, schedules and change orders. • Optimize resource allocation across projects, coordinate with departments and external stakeholders, and adjust utilization as needed. • Manage financial aspects of the client’s capital plan, evaluate project budgets, approve financial reports, invoices and expense claims, and work with finance teams. • Serve as primary contact for clients, stakeholders and senior management, communicating status updates and resolving issues promptly. • Implement quality control and assurance processes, conduct audits and site inspections, and identify and mitigate project risks. • Continuously improve project management processes, tools and methodologies by adopting best practices and fostering innovation.

Compensation is estimated at $120 k–$140 k annually, with final packages based on qualifications, location and market conditions.
