About the Role

The role entails managing designated areas of the warehouse operation, overseeing functional areas, and handling manager‑level duties such as applying standard operating policies and administering associate matters. Problems encountered are typically high‑impact and require independent troubleshooting and customized solutions. The position may lead daily departmental operations, train junior staff, and delegate tasks, though hiring and firing authority are not included. • Train staff to achieve department performance goals • Manage and ensure successful achievement of performance goals for assigned functional areas • Control warehouse expenses • Ensure compliance with all personnel policies • Promote and manage safety programs, maintain a safe working environment, and address worker’s compensation and liability issues • Enforce Asset Protection and Hazmat programs • Open and close the distribution center, authorize refunds, and resolve customer problems • Troubleshoot complex operational problems for junior associates and develop customized solutions • Lead daily operations of a department or team under limited supervision • Train, delegate tasks, and review work of junior level associates • Maintain facility upkeep by surveying for repair and maintenance items

What You Bring
