About the Role
In this role you will build positive connections and leverage a strong aptitude for sales and marketing to achieve leasing and renewal goals for the community. Attention to price, promotion, and presentation is essential, as is effective time management, detail orientation, and teamwork while providing excellent customer service to residents, associates, and vendors. You will manage daily marketing activities, ensure apartments and amenities are clean and rent‑ready, handle resident and prospect communications, conduct tours, process applications, and maintain a high leasing closing ratio. Regular market analysis, collaboration with the Community Director, and proactive lease renewal efforts will drive resident retention and overall leasing performance. • Conduct marketing tours, open target units, and ensure apartments and amenities are clean and rent‑ready. • Coordinate daily activities using the 4 Ps: People, Product, Price, and Promotion. • Respond promptly to resident and prospect calls and emails, logging all leasing traffic daily. • Convert inbound calls into walk‑ins, schedule viewings, and record appointments. • Tour prospective residents with enthusiasm, guide them through the application process, and achieve a strong leasing closing ratio. • Review, process, and communicate application results immediately upon receipt. • Follow the Weidner Move‑In Experience for approved applicants and manage lease renewals to boost resident retention. • Perform monthly market analysis, shop competitor properties, and implement daily marketing and leasing strategies. • Maintain community knowledge, including resident demographics and competitor offerings, and meet regularly with the Community Director to review performance. • Keep the leasing office and common areas clean, orderly, and presentable to Weidner quality standards. • Provide clear professional communication via phone, email, text, and in person. • Adhere to Weidner’s mission, vision, values, policies, Fair Housing laws, and maintain regular attendance and professional appearance.

What You Bring
The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of property‑management experience, strong customer‑service skills, and the ability to work in a fast‑paced environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is preferred, with willingness to learn Yardi and Paycom. Compliance with Weidner policies, Fair Housing laws, regular attendance, professional appearance, and a valid driver’s license with reliable transportation are required, along with passing a background check and agreeing to drug testing. • Utilize Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and learn Yardi/Paycom software as needed. • Possess a valid driver’s license, reliable personal vehicle, and insurance matching the work location. • Pass a criminal background check and agree to voluntary drug testing.
