About the Role
Key duties include receiving supplies from vendors, visually inspecting them for part number mismatches or damage, reporting discrepancies, issuing material, performing periodic cycle counts, tagging supplies, and maintaining stock location labels while monitoring inventory levels and expiration dates of shelf‑life items. The role requires preparing shipments using established packing and labeling procedures for both domestic and export shipping, operating electronic label terminals and packaging machines, creating container separators as needed, and ensuring proper documentation and visual verification of parts per quality standards. Material handling responsibilities involve lifting and transporting parts, tools, and waste using forklifts, power hoists, hand trucks, and other equipment, as well as performing minor maintenance on forklifts and packaging machines. • Receive, inspect, and record incoming supplies; report mismatches or damage. • Issue material, perform cycle counts, tag supplies, and manage stock locations. • Monitor inventory levels, expiration dates, and rotate shelf‑life items. • Maintain a clean stockroom and use the computerized inventory system efficiently. • Prepare shipments using established packing and labeling procedures for domestic and export orders. • Operate electronic label terminals, packaging machines, and create container separators as needed. • Verify part identification, absence of contamination, and maintain required logs and audit records. • Perform minor maintenance on forklifts and packaging equipment. • Lift, transport, and organize materials using forklifts, hand trucks, and power hoists.
