About the Role

The position provides technical guidance and advice on MEP services, ensuring outcomes meet agreed time, budget, safety and quality requirements. It supports high‑quality, time‑efficient and profitable delivery while contributing to project compliance, governance and assurance. The role also develops effective working relationships with internal colleagues and external stakeholders. • Provide robust technical support for MEP services throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring compliance with standards. • Advise on programme management, health, safety, wellbeing, quality and commissioning of MEP works. • Coordinate with clients, consultants, trade contractors and team leaders to build strong stakeholder relationships. • Review contracts and scope, assist in budgeting, value‑engineering, scheduling and trade contract preparation, supporting commercial teams. • Contribute to strategic project plans, including prefabrication, commissioning and safety initiatives aligned with Mace’s operating framework. • Conduct design reviews for compliance, coordination, embodied carbon and operational energy per RIBA and BSRIA frameworks. • Evaluate delivery strategies and programmes, considering milestones, interfaces, logistics and work sequencing. • Review commissioning strategies to meet Mace standards, including IST approach, ATPs and soft landings. • Identify risks proactively and help develop mitigation plans. • Capture lessons learned and share knowledge for continuous improvement. • Support net‑zero carbon transition by managing carbon emissions and reductions during delivery.
