About the Role

The Senior Planner will develop robust, realistic schedule estimates for construction works, define the Basis of Estimate, and work closely with Cost, Risk, and QSRA teams to align assumptions. What You Bring

CMR is hiring a Senior Planner (126CMR) on a full‑time basis, with an immediate start. The role is based on a hybrid schedule of three days in the office and two days remote, offering a competitive salary. The successful candidate will bring extensive construction industry experience, project management, and project controls expertise to support CMR’s UK expansion. The team is multi‑disciplinary, so a broad skill set or willingness to learn is essential. Candidates must have at least six years of planning experience on construction and infrastructure projects, be proficient in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Office, and possess strong communication and presentation skills. Desirable qualifications include BIM and 4‑D planning experience, a relevant degree or project management certifications (APM, PRINCE2), knowledge of procurement and contracts, and membership of a professional body such as APM, ICE or CIOB. • In‑house capability matrix transparently tracks progression and highlights development areas • Ability to make a significant impact in a small, dynamic team shaping the company’s future • 6+ years planning experience on construction and infrastructure projects • Proficiency in Primavera P6 • Knowledge of construction elements such as civils and M&E • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) • Experience on major construction and infrastructure projects • Excellent communication and visual presentation skills in English • Experience with BIM, parametric estimating, and 4‑D planning • Degree qualification; project management certifications (APM, PRINCE2) advantageous • Knowledge of procurement processes and contract forms (NEC, JCT, FIDIC) • Membership of a professional body (APM, ICE, CIOB) • Full right to work in the UK
