About the Role
Downer plans, creates and sustains essential public services across Australia and New Zealand, managing infrastructure from hospitals to data centres and Defence partnerships. The company is sovereign‑owned, ASX‑listed and has been recognised as Estate & Infrastructure Business of the Year (2025) and Prime Contractor of the Year (2024‑2025). • Lead the Estate Upkeep team in delivering trades work and maintenance across Defence sites. • Record and analyse KPIs and performance metrics for estate upkeep activities. • Supply accurate asset condition data to support management decisions. • Ensure all work complies with required standards, regulations and contractual requirements. • Identify, assess and mitigate risks related to work delivery.

What You Bring
• Hold a Trade Certificate (Carpentry, Plumbing or Electrical) and a valid NSW trade licence. • Possess a general trade background with experience in leadership and maintenance supervision. • Demonstrate working knowledge of asset compliance and management techniques. • Maintain a current open driver’s licence and Australian citizenship to obtain Defence Security Clearance. • Possess a Building Maintenance Leadership Certification (desirable).
