About the Role

• Perform safety and quality plan tasks, mentor for injury‑free environment. • Coordinate with QA/QC planning to ensure quality for assigned tasks. • Participate in estimating and change management, including quantity take‑off and subcontractor proposal review. • Monitor crew size, self‑perform hours, materials, quantity, and equipment on site. • Participate in punch lists, city inspections, safety and quality reviews, and prepare documentation. • Post updated drawings and specifications. • Organize and participate in project meetings; prepare and distribute required documentation. • Coordinate and inspect work; prepare daily, weekly, and progress reports, production schedules, equipment tracking, etc. • Conduct job‑site observations with project leadership. • Create procurement logs, track shop drawings, and follow up on deliveries. • Provide progress updates to support scheduling. • Oversee project close‑out, including punch lists, O&M manuals, and as‑built drawings. • Apply company best practices for building and construction techniques. • Build relationships and communication with tradespeople, foremen, superintendents, and subcontractors. • Collaborate and demonstrate teamwork. • Implement Lean practices into regular activities. • Identify, develop, and integrate self‑perform opportunities into the project. • Lead preparation of estimates for base project, self‑perform work, and change requests; define scopes and select subcontractors. • Make decisions on subcontractor and vendor selection. • Coordinate approved purchase orders for timing, delivery, product changes, and repairs. • Support or complete job set‑up and project administration in CMiC and other technologies. • Lead submittal process to align with project schedule. • Prepare and manage project schedule for assigned scope. • Analyze and report production statistics for key project components. • Manage project risks including subcontractor performance, financials, and resource allocation. • Coordinate various meetings such as pre‑planning, post‑construction, monthly reviews, and OAC meetings. • Review and approve monthly subcontractor and vendor pay applications. • Initiate discussions on potential issues to foster collaborative problem solving. • Lead project close‑out, managing punch lists, quality, cost, and inspections. • Provide training and mentorship to others. • Perform work accurately, completely, and in a timely manner. • Build relationships that transcend individual projects. • Assess and optimize project productivity and profitability. • Lead teams to achieve production goals.

Activities range from frequent standing and walking to occasional sitting at a computer. • Demonstrate understanding of company functions and support roles. • Understand terms and conditions of owner contracts and subcontracts. • Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills. • Proficient in MS Office and construction/project management software. • Knowledge of organizational structure, resources, and construction management fundamentals. • Understand project processes and how they support successful completion. • Apply Lean principles and self‑perform labor productivity concepts. • Knowledge of specific trades and scopes of work. • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). • Minimum of 3 + years construction experience. • Ability to lift up to 25 lb. • May require travel or relocation and non‑traditional hours. • Exposure to extreme hot or cold conditions. • Frequent activities: standing, walking, climbing, bending, reaching above shoulder, pushing, pulling. • Occasional activities: sitting, viewing computer screen.
