About the Role

• Develop and execute preliminary and final road designs, covering pavement, geometry, drainage and signage. • Ensure designs comply with current standards. • Prepare and update reports, technical notes and specifications. • Participate in preparing tender documents and cost estimates. • Manage projects using resource, budget and schedule management principles. • Coordinate with relevant engineering disciplines. • Verify constructability of designs.

What You Bring

The role of Senior Roadway Project Engineer / Chargé de projet requires a bachelor’s degree in civil or construction engineering, more than ten years of road design experience, active membership in the Ordre des Ingénieurs du Québec and thorough knowledge of MTMD and TAC standards. Desired qualifications include certifications from MTMD or AQTR (STC 101, 102, 201), strong coordination skills for multidisciplinary teams, autonomy, initiative, fluent oral and written communication in French and English, and proficiency with AutoCAD/MicroStation, InRoads/OpenRoads and MS Office. French proficiency is mandatory for permanent positions in Québec, with language training provided if needed; English proficiency is also required to interact with clients and partners outside the province and to understand technical documentation.
