About the Role
The employee is responsible for maintaining and repairing tires in accordance with the WM Total Tire Maintenance (TTM) program and all applicable local, state, and federal regulations. Key duties include overseeing the site’s TTM plan, inspecting tires for serviceability, warranty eligibility, and scrap, handling tire‑related road calls, and maintaining accurate tire records while coordinating with suppliers. • Maintain and repair tires following the WM Total Tire Maintenance program and regulatory guidelines. • Manage the site TTM plan and conduct comprehensive tire inspections, including out‑of‑service, scrap, obsolete, and warranty reviews. • Complete paperwork for vehicle repairs, parts usage, and labor time tracking. • Coordinate tire road calls and monitor supplier service standards. • Perform fleet surveys and keep accurate tire records. • Ensure a clean, safe work area in compliance with OSHA and corporate safety procedures. • Execute all tasks according to established safety protocols. • Perform physical tasks such as lifting, carrying, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, handling, grasping, standing, walking, and repetitive motions with proper coordination. • Work in indoor gas‑plant settings and outdoors under inclement weather, heat, and humidity. • Maintain a REAL ID or TSA‑approved alternative for travel to federal property as required.
