Excellerate Quality Technician

About the Role

• Analyzes upcoming tasks based on manufacturing schedules and anticipates equipment installation for completion of assigned scope. • Provide inspection related reports and support material as required. • Conducts quality inspections for conduit systems, lighting, equipment, and other basic electrical/control systems and feeders. • Updates schedules, trackers, logs, and other forms through multiple platforms (G-Sheets, Smartsheet, ACC, BIM 360, etc.). • Responsible for a clean and orderly work area at all times according to 5S principles. • Works with Value Stream Leaders to help define and implement quality requirements, plans, checklists, and other deliverables. • Plans for, completes, and implements assignments and responsibilities in a timely manner. • Identifies potential quality issues from review of construction documents. • Performs all assigned tasks while maintaining FTI’s commitment to Safety. • Provides updates to the Excellerate Quality team on the status of any quality issues discovered. • Conducts scheduled or random quality inspections on raw materials, work in process, and finished assemblies. • Coordinates the collection of quality data in manufacturing (inspection results, checklists, torque values, pictures, certifications, etc.). • Ensures the Non-Conforming Material (NCM) process is properly utilized when needed; and leads the tagging, logging and quarantine of NCM materials.
