What You Bring
Key duties include using problem‑solving skills to identify issues, conducting analysis, and delivering insights and recommendations. Interns synthesize findings, make oral and written recommendations, execute functional project tasks and process improvements, and communicate any roadblocks. The role is split roughly 50 % software development and 50 % business analysis, with familiarity in software enhancements and bug fixes. Required qualifications are a high school diploma or GED and enrollment in or recent completion of a bachelor’s degree in a field relevant to the internship. Preferred qualifications are not specified. The position operates in a professional office environment using standard equipment. Interns must work onsite Monday through Thursday at WM’s downtown Houston headquarters, with a flexible work‑from‑home day on Friday, and must reside in Houston, TX or surrounding areas.
