WSP prioritises health and safety, accommodates candidates with disabilities, and upholds employment equity throughout its hiring process. • Design piping systems, mechanical equipment, and process components, selecting rotating and static equipment. • Develop 2D and 3D general arrangement drawings and layout plans. • Perform engineering calculations and review/seal engineering documents. • Prepare technical specifications, datasheets, requisitions, and support bid evaluations. • Attend client sites, conduct construction reviews, and participate in project meetings. • Build and maintain strong client relationships by responding promptly and professionally. • Enforce health and safety policies throughout all project phases. • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality, cost‑effective, and timely delivery.

What You Bring

Candidates should bring at least five years of mechanical or piping engineering experience in industrial/mining environments, hold a British Columbia P.Eng licence, and be versed in relevant codes and standards. Strong communication skills, a team‑oriented mindset, and readiness to travel are essential. • Minimum 5 years experience as a Mechanical or Piping Engineer in industrial/mining design. • Licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng) in British Columbia. • Proficient in designing process piping systems and preparing equipment datasheets/specifications. • Knowledge of ASME, API, MSS, ASTM, NFPA, and CSA standards. • Experience with pipe stress analysis tools (e.g., CAESAR II) is an asset. • Ability to work safely on industrial sites and comply with site‑specific safety regulations. • Strong written and verbal English communication; proficient in Microsoft Office. • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites. • Team‑oriented mindset; French language skills considered an asset.
